The Center Fellow’s Guide to the C4IR Kibae Kim  2019-09-11

The report highlights the competence of a joint research collaboration between KAIST and the WEF. The WEF has built their competence in skills of architecture design, understandings of industry cases and business demand, to apply them to the research of business principles in blockchain adoption, and practical design for the application of blockchain. On the other hand, the research interests of KAIST are in economic principles in blockchain algorithm, and co-evolution of governance and technologies, on the ground of its competences in data analysis, machine learning, agent-based modelling, and understandings of policy. This report guides how the two heterogeneous partners could scope the research collaboration with keeping their own strengths and interests, and adopting the counter parts’ capabilities.
